Using Promo Codes
Promo codes offer discounts on your Equipoise subscription. This guide explains how to use them.
Applying a Promo Code
During Signup
- Visit the pricing page
- Select your plan
- Look for "Have a promo code?" link
- Click to expand the code field
- Enter your code
- Click Apply
The discount will appear in your order summary.
On an Existing Account
Some promo codes work for existing subscribers:
- Go to Account Settings > Subscription
- Click Apply Promo Code
- Enter the code
- The discount applies to your next bill
Types of Discounts
Percentage Off
Example: "20% off your first year"
- Applied to your subscription price
- May apply to first payment only or ongoing
Fixed Amount Off
Example: "$10 off per month"
- Flat discount on your bill
- Often limited to certain plans
Extended Trial
Example: "30-day free trial instead of 14"
- Extends your trial period
- No charge until trial ends
Free Months
Example: "First 2 months free"
- Full subscription at no cost
- Regular billing begins after
Finding Promo Codes
Promo codes are available through:
- Welcome emails from partners
- Special events and conferences
- Nonprofit programs
- Seasonal promotions
- Referral programs
Promo Code Restrictions
Some codes have restrictions:
- Plan-specific: Only works for certain plans
- New users only: Can't be used by existing subscribers
- One-time use: Each code used only once
- Expiration date: Must be used before deadline
- Usage limit: Limited number of redemptions
Troubleshooting
"Code not valid"
The code may be:
- Expired
- Already used
- Not applicable to your plan
- Entered incorrectly (check spelling)
"Code not applicable"
The code may require:
- A specific plan tier
- New customer status
- Annual billing
"Code already redeemed"
- Each code can only be used once per account
- Some codes have a global usage limit
Combining Codes
Generally, only one promo code can be used per subscription. You cannot stack multiple discounts.
