  3. Have your QR code ready to scan

Tip: Screenshot your ticket in case of connection issues at the venue.

Printed Tickets

  2. Click Print Ticket or Download PDF
  3. Print on regular paper (color not required)
  4. Keep it safe and unfolded

Event Day: What to Bring

Required

  • Your ticket (digital or printed)
  • Photo ID (some events require it)

Recommended

  • Phone charged for digital tickets
  • Screenshot of your ticket as backup
  • Confirmation email (just in case)

The Check-In Process

How QR Code Scanning Works

  1. When you arrive, go to the check-in area
  2. Show your QR code to the staff member
  3. They scan it with their device
  4. If valid, you'll hear a confirmation sound
  5. You're in! Enjoy the event.

What Happens During Scanning

The system checks:

  • Is this ticket valid for this event?
  • Has this ticket been used already?
  • Is the ticket holder authorized?

Valid tickets turn green. You're good to go!

If Something Goes Wrong

If your ticket doesn't scan:

  • Try increasing screen brightness
  • Clean your screen or unfold paper
  • Show the confirmation email as backup
  • Staff can look you up by name/email

Multiple Tickets

If you bought tickets for a group:

  • Each ticket has its own QR code
  • You can send tickets to friends
  • Each person can use their own ticket
  • Or you can hold all tickets and check everyone in at once

After Check-In

Once you've checked in:

  • Your ticket is marked as used
  • You cannot re-enter with the same ticket (unless re-entry is allowed)
  • Keep your ticket as a memento if you'd like!

Ticket Policies by Event Type

Event Type Typical Policies
Concerts No re-entry
Festivals Re-entry allowed with hand stamp
Conferences Re-entry allowed all day
Workshops Check-in once at start

Check your specific event's policies before leaving the venue.

Troubleshooting

"Ticket Already Used"

  • The ticket may have already been scanned
  • If you didn't use it, contact the box office immediately
  • Someone may have a copy of your ticket

"Ticket Not Found"

  • Double-check you're at the right event
  • Verify the ticket is for today's date
  • Contact the box office with your confirmation email

Lost Your Phone at the Event

  • Find event staff or the box office
  • Provide your name and email
  • They can look up your ticket
  • May require photo ID

Tips for a Smooth Entry

  1. Arrive early: Lines can be long, especially right before start time
  2. Have tickets ready: Don't wait until you're at the scanner to find them
  3. Keep brightness up: Dark screens are hard to scan
  4. Have backup: Screenshot or print as backup
  5. Know the venue: Check for parking, entrances, and prohibited items

We hope you have an amazing time at your event!
