Using Discount Codes for Events
Have a promotional code or discount? Here's how to use it when buying tickets.
Where to Enter Your Code
During Checkout
- Add tickets to your cart
- Proceed to checkout
- Look for "Have a promo code?" or "Discount code"
- Click to expand the code field
- Enter your code exactly as received
- Click Apply
Before Adding to Cart
Some events show a promo code field on the ticket selection page:
- Enter your code before selecting tickets
- Discounted prices will display
- Add tickets to cart at the reduced price
If Your Code Works
When successfully applied:
- You'll see a confirmation message
- The discount appears in your order summary
- The total is reduced accordingly
If Your Code Doesn't Work
"Code Not Valid"
The code may be:
- Expired (check the valid dates)
- Already used (some codes are one-time use)
- Misspelled (check caps, numbers, and spaces)
- Not yet active (some codes have start dates)
"Code Not Applicable"
The code may only work for:
- Specific events
- Certain ticket types
- Minimum purchase amounts
- First-time buyers only
"Code Already Redeemed"
If you've used this code before:
- Each code typically works once per person
- Some codes have a total usage limit
- Contact the event organizer for a new code
